Tempted to pick up a micro USB hub, 1 GB SD card and 2 GB microSD card from Amazon for 25.06 with free shipping. Only problem is I don't need any of these things, they're just inexpensive and shiny. I should be practicing more clutter elimination instead of lusting after new things.

The last DVD for Episode 2 of The Wire arrived cracked, so even though the first DVD of Episode 3 is arriving tomorrow I will have to wait until the expedited replacement shows up, probably Saturday or Monday since Friday is a holiday.

I was a little ticked at first because watching that show has become something of an addiction, but then I realized it was a great boon for me because I could concentrate on catching up on some coding and getting my laundry done. I'm happy to say that both got accomplished in spades.

The kitten has been exploring her limits a bit more, and today I opened one of the living room windows for her to enjoy the view and the smells of the outside. That took up a good two hours of her time while I was furiously typing on the couch. She came back to my lap about the time Late Night came on the TV and stayed attached to me until I got up to put my clothes away and pack some of my bags for this weekend.

Lots going on the next few days, I hope I can keep up.

Evening weigh-in: 122.0 lbs.

maybe the next time you see something for really cheap, you could purchase them as a gift for somebody.
