Yesterday's slightly melancholy post is the last of the sad for a while, a sort of final unburdening after a week of keeping almost everything inside. This evening I looked back to some things I'd written in March, and remembered the calmness and serenity I felt in those moments before I started to let myself get slowly carried away with minutiae all over again. No more. Life has presented me with both new opportunity and a swift kick in the pants when I've needed it. I'm lucky to be who I am and surrounded by wonderful folks. I can and will celebrate every moment, and work to be the best I can with each one.
